The Head of the Civil Engineering Office, Bernd Gregorzyk, will take part in the meeting of the steering committee of the Saxon-Bavarian network of cities, consisting of the cities of Hof, Bayreuth, Plauen, Zwickau and Chemnitz. The ChemCats face the team from Marburg in the 1st Women's Basketball Bundesliga.

For the song recital, singers from the Chemnitz opera ensemble will select song treasures and perform them under the title "In einem stillen Garten" (In a quiet garden), with mezzo-soprano Sylvia Rena Ziegler and pianist Friederike Wiesner interpreting songs by Richard Strauss, Robert Schumann, Johannes Brahms and Franz Schubert, among others.
