From today until Sunday 13 May, the 13th Chemnitz Balloon Festival and the 4th Dance Festival will take place. Balloon launches are planned on all three days at around 7 pm and the balloon glow on Saturday at around 10 pm. Programme: www.parkeisenbahn-chemnitz.de.

The winner of the Chemnitz Theatre Prize for Young Drama 2018 "Sieben Geister" - a family drama by Sören Hornung - has its premiere.

The opera "Don Pasquale" by Gaetano Donizetti has its premiere. The libretto was written jointly by Giovanni Ruffini and Gaetano Donizetti. The performance will be in Italian with German surtitles.

The Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra invites you to the 3rd family concert. The exciting bear adventure "Little Strong Panda" is accompanied by the seasonal mood of two further parts from Antonio Vivaldi's "Four Seasons": "Spring" and "Summer".
