Mayor Barbara Ludwig attends the board meeting of the Ostdeutsche Sparkassenstiftung and chairs the subsequent meeting of the foundation's board.
Time and place: 10.30 a.m., Berlin.
Under the patronage of the Mayor of Chemnitz, Barbara Ludwig, the Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of GMD Frank Beermann will be presenting the concert programme "Encounters with Schubert" at unusual venues from 9 to 16 July 2014, starting in the Markuskirche on the Sonnenberg.

Saturday, 12 July
The traditional KKH run will once again take place under the patronage of the Mayor of Chemnitz. The programme of running events includes a Bambini run, a school run, a beginners' run and a fitness run. Information: www.kkh.de
Time and place: Opening at 10 a.m., start and finish at the sports centre in Chemnitz city park.
Mayor Barbara Ludwig takes part in the unveiling of the artistically designed lettering "I love Chemnitz" on Sachsen-Allee. The initiative to design the lettering, which was supported by various partners, was inspired by the City of Chemnitz's communication and marketing concept "I am the city".
