Lord Mayor Barbara Ludwig opens three trade fairs. The LiMa lightweight construction trade fair, mtex - the international trade fair for technical textiles and SIT, the Saxon industry and technology trade fair, will be presented under the umbrella term MEHRWERT ³. Mayor Barbara Ludwig will take part in a tour of the fair.

Lord Mayor Barbara Ludwig takes part in the book presentation by Chemnitz honorary citizen Prof. Carl H. Hahn. He will be presenting his book "DKW-Hahn: A manager and entrepreneur in the German automotive industry". Together with automotive historian Peter Kirchberg, he will trace the life of his father, Carl Hahn (1894 - 1961), the entrepreneur who went down in history under the honourable name of DKW-Hahn.
