The 19th Chemnitz Museum Night takes place. As a major joint project of the city's museums, culture and art scene, it will set its very own accents in the festive year 2018, which is all about the city's 875th anniversary.

The play "Death of a Salesman" by Arthur Miller, German by Volker Schlöndorff and Florian Hopf, has its premiere. Directed by Carsten Knödler, Miller's drama, for which he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 1949, can now be seen for the first time in Chemnitz.
