Premiere of the theatre play "Ein Sportstück" by Elfriede Jelinek. The production by the TheatreYouthClub is suitable for audiences aged 14 and over.

Saturday, 31 January
The 24th regional "Jugend musiziert" competition will be held in Chemnitz and Döbeln on Saturday and Sunday, this time with 98 young soloists and 62 participants in the ensemble section (PM 23 from 21 January 2015).
Premiere of Verdi's "Othello" in a production by Michael Heinicke, with GMD Frank Beermann as musical director. The performance will be given in Italian with German surtitles.
