Opening of the exhibition "Defying Gravity" with paintings, graphics, sculpture and photography from the collection of the Neue Sächsische Galerie. The exhibition, sponsored by the City of Chemnitz and the Kunsthütte association, will be on display until 9 June 2013 with works by over 30 artists from Saxony.

Saturday, 30 March
Mayor Barbara Ludwig visits the international gymnastics competition. Teams from the USA, Spain, France and host country Germany are taking part in this high-class sporting event - the German squad includes gymnasts from the local TuS Chemnitz-Altendorf.
