The one Oldie Masters 2016 takes place. Traditional East German clubs will pit their footballing skills against traditional clubs from the Bundesliga and a surprise team. The Chemnitz Arena will be transformed into a football temple over five hours.
Time and place: 2 p.m. (admission 1 p.m.), Chemnitz Exhibition Centre
"Werther" - a drame lyrique in four acts by Jules Massenet, libretto by Edouard Blau, Paul Milliet and Georges Hartmann, has its premiere. The performance will be in French with German surtitles.
