Mayor Barbara Ludwig will present the four-day programme (from 9 to 12 May 2013) together with the organiser, represented by Michael Weber, 1st Vice President of the BDMV (Bundesvereinigung Deutscher Musikverbände e.V.), Harald Eßig, Managing Director of the BDMV and Federal Music Director Heiko Schulze.

Open day at the New Town Hall: Presentation of the Neo Rauch painting "Die Abwägung".
Guided tours of Neo Rauch's work in the Council Chamber and of the famous Max Klinger painting "Labour = Prosperity = Beauty" in the City Council Chamber will be offered by experts from the Chemnitz Art Collections.
