Wednesday, 26 October
Mayor Sven Schulze welcomes the delegation from Kirjat Bialik to Chemnitz. To mark the signing of the town twinning agreement, a tram will be christened with the name Kirjat Bialik.

The Mayor of Kirjat Bialik, Eli Dukorski, will sign the official twinning agreement together with Lord Mayor Sven Schulze at a ceremony. He will also sign the city's Golden Book.

Thursday, 27 October
Lord Mayor Sven Schulze takes part in a book presentation by the Internationaler Bund and gives a welcoming address. Vice-President of the German Bundestag Aydan Özoğuz will also give a laudatory speech.
Time and place: 10.30 a.m., Carlowitz Congress Centre
The City of Chemnitz's representative for the disabled, Petra Liebetrau, and coordinator Kerstin Stopp accept the Host Town certificate for Chemnitz (together with four other Saxon cities) from the President of Special Olympics Saxony, MdL Daniela Kuge.

Friday, 28 October
The European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 GmbH presents the team and some pilot projects on the occasion of the second anniversary of winning the title "European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025". Lord Mayor Sven Schulze gives a welcome address to the invited guests.
Time and place: 6 p.m., Capital of Culture Centre, Hartmannstraße 3a
