Mayor Barbara Ludwig takes part in the symbolic start of construction for the new football stadium.

Friday, 24 January
The Prime Minister of Saxony, Stanislaw Tillich, visits Chemnitz and is accompanied by the Mayor of Chemnitz, Barbara Ludwig.
Note for media representatives: You will receive information on the date and stops of the visit to the city between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. directly from the Saxon State Chancellery with the invitation.
Mayor Petra Wesseler, representing the Mayor of Chemnitz, will give a welcome address at the festive event to mark the 20th anniversary of the Faculty of Philosophy at Chemnitz University of Technology.
Time and place: 5 p.m., TUC, Reichenhainer Straße 90.
The Neue Chemnitzer Kunsthütte association invites you to the annual Kunsthüttenfest in the Neue Sächsische Galerie. The exhibition "Schicht im Schacht. The Wismut art collection - an inventory" can be viewed until 26 January.
