Chemnitz University of Technology celebrates its 180th anniversary. The Königliche Gewerbschule zu Chemnitz was founded on 2 May 1836. Lord Mayor Barbara Ludwig will give a welcoming address at the ceremony.

The Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra invites you to the 9th and final symphony concert of the season. The programme includes the overture to "Julius Caesar" op. 128 by Robert Schumann, the Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in D flat major by Aram Khachaturian and Anton Bruckner's Symphony No. 4 in E flat major "Romantic". General Music Director Frank Beermann will conduct.
