Mayor Sven Schulze opens the 19th swimming festival organised by BFV Ascota Chemnitz e. V. This swimming competition is an important part of disabled sports in Chemnitz. Clubs from all over Germany take part.

"Die Walküre" - First day of the stage festival "Der Ring des Nibelungen" by Richard Wagner has its premiere. The performance will be with German surtitles. You can find the other Ring performances at www.theater-chemnitz.de.
