Wednesday, 20 October

Mayor Ralph Burghart gives a welcome address to the participants of the traditional jubilee event of IG Metall Chemnitz.

Mayor Ralph Burghart takes part in the "2021 Mozart Prize Winners' Concert" with the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine under the direction of Oksana Lyniv as a representative of the City of Chemnitz.

Premiere: Start of the nationwide theatre project "Kein Schlussstrich!" to come to terms with the NSU complex (21 October to 7 November) with the premiere of the play "Selma - Ein Leben in Jahreszeiten". On a lyrical search for traces through Chemnitz.

Lord Mayor Sven Schulze opens the renovated speed skating rink. This will be followed by the 3rd Winter Festival organised by Eissport und Freizeit GmbH (EFC) with public ice skating.
