The Heavy 24 24-hour mountain bike race starts again in its 12th year with a record number of participants.

Opening of the "RISSA" exhibition at the Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz.
To mark the 80th birthday of the artist Rissa, who was born on 22 June 1938 in Rabenstein near Chemnitz, the Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz am Theaterplatz will be showing a retrospective of her work with 30 paintings from 24 June to 16 September.
Mayor Barbara Ludwig will give a welcoming address at the opening.
