To commemorate the 460th anniversary of the death of Chemnitz mayor and Renaissance scholar Dr Georgius Agricola, Mayor Miko Runkel will take part in the event organised by the Goethe-Gesellschaft Chemnitz e. V. (Chemnitz Goethe Society).

The anniversary event for the re-establishment of the state fire brigade association takes place. Mayor Sven Schulze attends on behalf of the city and gives a welcoming speech.
