Mayor Barbara Ludwig invites you to her weekly press conference: This time the topic is the Chemnitz Christmas Market 2012.
When planning your visit, please note that the press conference starts at 12 noon due to scheduling reasons and will take place in consultation room 118.

Lord Mayor Barbara Ludwig will take part in the festive event with Prime Minister Stanislaw Tillich for the awarding of the Order of Merit of the Free State of Saxony to deserving citizens of the Free State.

Participants in the 6th Children and Youth Conference on the second conference Tuesday are Chemnitz pupils from years 5 to 7 (PM 660 from 01.11.2012).

The pre-Christmas season begins in Chemnitz with the arrival and erection of the official Chemnitz Christmas tree 2012 (PM 673 from 05.11.2012).
Time and place: Arrival expected between 5 and 6 pm, market at Chemnitz Town Hall.
Lord Mayor Barbara Ludwig accepts the invitation to the Saxony Industrial Ball 2012, organised by the Saxony Industrial Association 1828 under the motto "Magical Russia", with the author Wladimir Kaminer hosting the evening.

Invitation to the 2nd Chemnitz Integrative Sound Festival at the Chemnitz Municipal Music School. You are invited to a concert programme performed by soloists and ensembles with disabilities; the final concert will take place at 15:30 in the Propsteikirche (PM 672 from 05.11.2012).
