Monday, 11 February
Mayor Barbara Ludwig congratulates eins Managing Director Andreas Hennig on his 50th birthday.

Tuesday, 12 February

Mayor Barbara Ludwig congratulates IHK President Franz Voigt on his 60th birthday.

Time and place: 10 a.m., IHK Chamber Hall, Straße der Nationen 25, 09111 Chemnitz.

Mayor Barbara Ludwig invites you to the weekly press conference. Together with VMS Managing Director Dr Harald Neuhaus and Jörg Höllmüller (Central Saxony District Office), she will be providing information on the opening of the Chemnitz Model entrance to the main railway station on Friday.

Time and place: 2 p.m., VMS, Am Rathaus 2, 09111 Chemnitz.

Revival of the fantasy opera "Swanhunter" by Jonathan Dove in a production by Jürgen R. Weber, who is also responsible for the sets and choreography. The German premiere was in Chemnitz on 03.12.2011.

Friday, 15 February

The Mayor of Chemnitz, Barbara Ludwig, will give a welcoming address at the opening ceremony of the Chemnitz Model's entrance to Chemnitz Central Station.

Time and place: 2 p.m., Central Station.

Saturday, 16 February

Mayor Barbara Ludwig welcomes you to the opening of the 22nd Days of Jewish Culture in Chemnitz. The Culture Days, which run from 16 February to 3 March, will officially kick off this year at the Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz with three exhibitions: "Jerusalem Faces" by Oskar Kokoschka, paintings of destroyed Jewish synagogues in Germany and about the Jewish community of Shanghai.

Time and place: 7.30 pm, Museum am Theaterplatz.

Mayor Barbara Ludwig visits the 11th Chemnitz Opera Ball. Under the motto "Disfruta bailando en la fiesta!", the musical journey this time goes to South America.
