On theOctober public holiday, Chemnitz Zoo traditionally hosts a children's festival (PM 574 from 26.09.2012).
Time and place: 10 am to 5 pm, grounds on Nevoigtstraße.
The new exhibition of the Schloßberg Museum "Heaven's treasure trove - Chemnitz and the Saxon-Bohemian mountains in the 15th century - schools, art and church treasures" will be opened with a festive event in the Schloßkirche Chemnitz.
The Mayor of Chemnitz, Philipp Rochold, will give the opening address.
Time and place: 4 pm, castle church.
The exhibition will be on display from 4 October 2012 to 20 January 2013 in the Schloßbergmuseum.
