On Saturday, 6 December at 4 pm, anyone interested is invited to the Christmas concert of the Municipal Music School in the Carlowitz Hall of the Carlowitz Congress Centre Chemnitz, Theaterstraße 3. Under the motto Rock'n'Christmas, young musicians from the music school will give an upbeat concert with music from the genres of rock, pop and jazz. The big band, the Rock'n'Strings string band and other bands and soloists will be performing.
Admission costs 16 euros, children up to the age of 12 pay 12 euros. Tickets are available online at www.c3-chemnitz.de and at all known advance booking offices.
Representatives of the media are also invited.
The music students will light up the stage with international Christmas songs. The musical spectrum ranges from contemplative melodies and swinging rhythms to catchy pop ballads and powerful jazz & rock.
Nancy Gibson, Head of the Municipal Music School: "A few weeks after the extensive Chemnitz Revue in November, in which our music school presented itself in all musical disciplines, the next event is just around the corner with the Christmas concert. With a focus on the genres of rock, pop and jazz, this year's Christmas concert will showcase a special musical facet of our school."
