Rock am Kopp: Chemnitz premiere for Bilderbuch

Concert series of the city marketing campaign "The city is me" will continue on Saturday, 22 August at 4 pm

The secret is out: the Austrian band Bilderbuch will be rocking the Nischl at the next Rock am Kopp concert next Saturday at 4.30 pm. This was announced today by the sponsor eins energie in sachsen GmbH & Co KG, the supporters of NINERS Chemnitz, the organisers from the Chemnitz club Atomino and those responsible in the city of Chemnitz. DJ Sir Henry from Club Nikola-Tesla will be playing the warm-up for Bilderbuch from 4.00 pm.

Roland Warner, Chairman of the eins Management Board, emphasises: "As eins, we are rooted in the beautiful city of Chemnitz. As a municipal company, we work together with the city of Chemnitz in many different ways and want to further improve the quality of life here. That's why we are happy to support the Rock am Kopp concert with all our energy."

"Our commitment is a measure with which we want to support Chemnitz in its efforts to make the city more attractive, especially for young people. The NINERS have ambitious goals for the coming years, for which we need the support of the city's residents on as broad a level as possible. That's why we want to be increasingly visible and recognisable, not only in the sporting but also in the cultural environment of our city," says Marcus Albanus, Head of Marketing at NINERS.

"We are delighted to be able to present the band Bilderbuch. They are very popular in Austria. They have not yet been to Chemnitz and thanks to the support of the sponsors, we can welcome them on Saturday.

The four lads from the Alpine republic are the fifth act to give the Karl Marx Head an earful as part of the city communication campaign "Die Stadt bin ich". The band released their third studio album "Schick Schock" this year. They have played in front of thousands of visitors at several major festivals, such as Highfield, Melt!, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, and are looking to wow the fans at Rock am Kopp on Saturday.

Other supporters of Rock am Kopp are Radio Chemnitz and Getränke Pfeifer.
