Roadworks on Stollberger Straße
The carriageway on Stollberger Straße, between Neukirchner Straße and the outskirts of Chemnitz, is currently being resurfaced. The repair work is being carried out in two phases and will last until the beginning of November.
Until 19 October 2014, the section from Wolgograder Allee to the end of Chemnitz will be closed on one side with traffic lights, and from 20 October to 1 November 2014, a full road closure will be necessary due to the narrow width of Stollberger Straße. A diversion is signposted via Wolgograder Allee and Südring.
During the construction work, the asphalt binder and the asphalt surface course will be renewed.
The cost of the construction work is 265,000 euros.
Faber Bau GmbH from Drebach was commissioned to carry out the work.
