Roadworks on Neefestraße and Südring flyover
Closure required on Wednesday, 18 November
On Wednesday, 18 November, at 7.30 a.m., the road surfaces on the Neefestraße road sections in the tunnel area and on the flyover will be treated to improve skid resistance. The surfaces will be roughened using a road milling machine.
The two lanes in the tunnel area will be treated first, followed by the lanes on the flyover. The cost of the milling work will be around 6000 euros.
Once the cleaning work has been completed, the carriageways will be reopened to traffic.
The closure times and diversion routes are planned as follows:
Construction phase 1:
Closure of the tunnel from approx. 7.30 a.m. to 12 noon
Diversion towards the countryside: via Jaenickestraße, Zwickauer Straße to the Neefestraße roundabout.
Diversion towards the city centre: via Südring, Winklhoferstraße, Carl-Hamel-Straße.
Construction phase 2:
Closure of the flyover from 12 noon to 4 pm
Diversion in the direction of Neefestraße in a landward direction via Winklhoferstraße, Carl-Hamel-Straße and Neefestraße.
