Road surface repairs begin at the Harthauer Straße / Schulstraße junction
Diversion set up for the duration of the construction work
Roadworks to repair the Harthauer Straße-Schulstraße junction will begin next Tuesday. This is only possible with a full closure of the junction area. There will therefore be no connection between Schulstraße and Harthauer Straße during this time.
For the duration of the work, which is due to be completed on 21 June, a diversion will be set up for Schulstraße via Annaberger Straße and for Harthauer Straße via Klaffenbacher Straße, Stöcklstraße, Kirchsteig and Feudelstraße.
Due to numerous construction measures in recent years, the traffic junction Schulstraße / Harthauer Straße has been overloaded and shows clear signs of damage. In connection with the flood protection measures of the state dam administration, this inadequate roadway condition and the surface drainage are to be repaired. The share for the city of Chemnitz amounts to approx. 15,000 euros.
The company Phönix - Bau GmbH, Zschorlauer Straße 56, 08280 Aue, was commissioned to carry out the construction work.
