Road renewal on section of Zwickauer Straße
Half-sided closure of Zwickauer Straße from Kappler Drehe to Goethestraße
From Monday, 18 July, the city-bound carriageway of Zwickauer Straße between the Kappler Drehe junction and the Zwickauer Straße/Goethestraße junction will be renewed. The construction work is expected to last until 27 August 2022.
In this context, the "Industriemuseum" bus stop will be made barrier-free. The work will be carried out with the city-bound carriageway closed.
Traffic travelling towards the city will be diverted to the opposite carriageway. Construction site traffic lights will be installed at all junctions and crossroads.
During this time, it will not be possible to turn left from Zwickauer Straße into Barbarossastraße. The diversion will be via Ulmenstraße. Furthermore, it is not possible to turn left from Ulmenstraße towards the city centre; the diversions is possible via Barbarossastraße.
On Monday, 18 July, Zwickauer Straße towards the city and Goethestraße in the direction of Barbarossastraße will also be closed for a short time between 8 am and 12 noon. The reason for this is to set up the traffic routing.
The city-bound bus stop "Industriemuseum" will be provisionally set up at the same level as the tram stop.
