Road closures on 5 March
Information from the traffic authorities for the Chemnitz Peace Day on Saturday
Numerous events will be taking place in the city centre on Saturday, 5 March, to mark Chemnitz Peace Day. For this reason, some streets will have to be closed or can only be used to a limited extent.
The following streets are affected:
between 1 pm and around 8 pm:
Complete closure of Brückenstraße between Straße der Nationen and Theaterstraße/Mühlenstraße
between 3 pm and approx. 6 pm:
Full closure of Theaterstraße between Brückenstraße and the Rosenhof car park exit, including the Brückenstraße junction. The exit of residents from Theaterstraße will be controlled by the police.
The closures will be cleared immediately after the end of the events.
The gatherings will be secured by the police. Further operational closures are to be expected in the city centre.
