Road closures due to work on the railway viaduct
Traffic restrictions on Reichsstrasse and Beckerstrasse from 30 March
From 30 March to 26 May, the right-hand lane of Reichsstraße between Stollberger Straße and Becker Straße will be closed due to construction work on the railway viaduct over Annaberger Straße.
From 3 to 6 April, two lanes of Reichsstrasse between Beckerstrasse and Annaberger Strasse will be closed overnight. Specifically, these will be closed from 5.30 pm on 3 April and from 7 pm on 4 to 6 April until 6 am the following day.
From 14 April to 19 April, Beckerstrasse will then be fully closed between Reichsstrasse and the entrance to the Eldyn company.
The following work will be carried out on the viaduct as part of the Deutsche Bahn construction project:
- Assembly of steel girders, laying of prefabricated parts,
- Scaffolding work along the Chemnitz viaduct
- Steel construction work
- Track tamping work along the entire railway arch
- Shoring and drilling work in the Apollostrasse area
