Road closures due to construction work from 2 August
Feudelstraße in the Harthau district and Niederwiesaer Straße in the Ebersdorf district
From Monday 2 August, Feudelstraße between Gießereiweg and Kirchsteig will have to be fully closed during the day for the municipal broadband expansion work until probably the end of September.
Due to the location of the cables and the insufficient remaining widths for traffic, the full closure for the daytime construction site between 6 am and 4 pm is unavoidable.
Access for the emergency services and waste disposal will be guaranteed throughout the entire construction period.
In the evenings and at night, from 4 pm to 6 am, it will be possible to drive through the construction site area and this will be regulated by a mobile traffic light system.
Local traffic from Schulstraße to Gießereiweg and from Klaffenbacher Straße to Feudelstraße 46 is guaranteed at all times.
Please note that Klaffenbacher Straße in the area of Annaberger Straße (B95) is still fully closed due to the current construction of the new bridge. This means that a diversion via the B95 - Klaffenbacher Hauptstraße is also necessary.
Niederwiesaer Straße will also be fully closed at house number 18 from Monday 2 August until 6 August. A gas pipeline will be laid alongside and across the carriageway.
The diversion will be via Frankenberger Straße - Mittweidaer Straße - Ortelsdorfer Straße. The bus will turn round at the junction with Ortelsdorfer Straße.
