Return to normal operations in the city library
On Monday, 8 June, the city library facilities will extend their services and return to normal operation after the corona-related restrictions.
The advice desks in the individual libraries are open again and media information can be provided again. Individual workstations and Internet workstations are also available again. From 13 June, libraries will also be open again on Saturdays.
Opening hours from 8 June
- Central Library in the TIETZ:
Monday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 10 am to 7 pm
Wednesday: 2 to 6 p.m.
Saturday (from 13 June): 10 am to 6 pm
- Vita Centre district library:
Monday: 10 am to 6 pm
Wednesday: 2 to 6 p.m.
Thursday: 10 am to 7 pm
Saturday (from 13 June): 10 am to 2 pm
- Yorck neighbourhood library:
Tuesday: 10 am to 6 pm
Thursday: 10 am to 4 pm
Friday: 10 am to 6 pm
- Einsiedel neighbourhood library:
Tuesday: 10 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 6 pm
- Wittgensdorf District Library:
Friday: 10 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 5 pm
- Lending desk in Röhrsdorf (town hall)
Thursday: 12 to 16.45
- Borrowing centre Klaffenbach (municipal office)
Monday (1st and 3rd of the month): 5 to 7 p.m.
The book bus is not yet in use, as the distance rules cannot be observed there. Due to the contact restrictions that are still in place, events and media education programmes are also not yet possible.
