Resurfacing of Dresdner Straße between the upper access road to the hospital and Weißer Weg
From Monday, the road surface on Dresdner Straße between the hospital access road and Weißer Weg will be renewed. To this end, traffic is expected to be restricted in sections on a lane up to 150 m long with alternating traffic lights until 1 December 2012.
In some cases, restrictions will also be necessary on access to Steinweg and Hohlweg. Diversions will be signposted in each case. Separate information will be provided on special traffic restrictions for road surface installation at weekends with longer construction phases.
Pedestrians can use the existing footpath with restrictions. A traffic light for pedestrians will be installed in the construction area of the landward bus stop to ensure safe crossing of the carriageway.
The overall project has a financial cost of approx. 210,000 euros and includes the surface refurbishment and the extension of the bus stops. The company ATS Chemnitz GmbH was commissioned to carry out the work.
