Results of the ADFC cycling climate test are presented

Invitation: on 24 June, from 4 pm, Stadtschaufenster, Technical Town Hall

On Tuesday, 24 June, from 4 to 5.30 p.m., interested parties are invited to the City Showcase in the Technical City Hall, Friedensplatz 1. Representatives of the General German Cyclists' Club (ADFC) Chemnitz, the Saxony State Association and the City of Chemnitz Transport and Civil Engineering Office will present the results of the 2024 Cycling Climate Test.

Representatives of the media are also invited to attend.

At the event, the results will be discussed with all those present from the perspective of cyclists and taking into account the development of the cycle path network in Chemnitz.

Every two years, the ADFC surveys cyclists throughout Germany on the situation of cycling and the cycling climate in their city. More than 215,00 cyclists in 1100 towns and cities in Germany took part in the survey in autumn 2024. The results were published this week at the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport in Berlin.
