Results of the ADFC cycling climate test are discussed

On Tuesday, 16 May, from 5 to 6.30 pm, interested parties are invited to the City Showcase in the Technical City Hall, Friedensplatz 1. Representatives of the General German Cyclists' Club (ADFC) Chemnitz and the Saxony regional association as well as representatives of the City of Chemnitz Civil Engineering Department will be presenting the results of the 2022 Cycling Climate Test, which was published at the end of April.
Representatives of the media are also invited to attend.
At the event, the results will be discussed with all those present from the perspective of cyclists and taking into account the development of the cycle path network in Chemnitz.
Every two years, the ADFC surveys cyclists throughout Germany on the situation of cycling and the cycling climate in their city. In the last survey, which was conducted in autumn 2022, Chemnitz was ranked 22nd out of 46 cities in Saxony.
