Residents' meeting on 15 October as a live broadcast and in-person event
Chemnitz residents can now submit topic suggestions and questions
On Friday, 15 October, from 5 to 7.30 pm, the City of Chemnitz invites all residents of the city to a residents' assembly.
The residents' meeting in April was held as an online-only event due to the pandemic. On 15 October, there will also be the opportunity to talk to city representatives in person. The event will therefore include two formats.
Live broadcast for the entire city population from 5 to 6 pm
As in April, there will be a panel discussion. This is expected to be broadcast via the Internet and also on Chemnitz Fernsehen. The Lord Mayor, the mayors and a representative of Chemnitz Hospital will provide information on current urban issues.
Citizens can submit their topics of interest or questions for the live broadcast from now until 3 October via the City of Chemnitz's participation portal at: https://mitdenken.sachsen.de/1026490 or www.chemnitz.de/mitwirken or via the QR code:
Alternatively, this can also be done during the same period by e-mail to buergerbuero(at)stadt-chemnitz.de or by telephone on 0371 488 1512.
The questions should relate to a general public interest and fall within the area of responsibility of the City of Chemnitz. The service centre (authority number 115) will be happy to help with personal or individual concerns in cooperation with the specialist departments. Questions that were already answered in April can be found at: www.chemnitz.de/EWV_April21
In-person event for residents of the Mitte and Mitte-West districts from 5 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.
Parallel to the live broadcast, the city is inviting interested Chemnitz residents from the Mitte and Mitte-West districts to the foyer of Luxor Chemnitz, Hartmannstraße 11, 09113 Chemnitz.
Representatives from the City of Chemnitz, ASR, CVAG, citizens' platforms, district management and district pilots will be available from 5 pm. The live broadcast can also be followed on a monitor.
From around 6.15 p.m., the Lord Mayor and the mayors will also be available to answer concerns and questions in person.
The face-to-face event is aimed specifically at residents of the Mitte and Mitte-West districts. There will be an opportunity to come along and find out about current developments in these areas and address your own concerns in person.
(The pandemic and hygiene rules in force at the time of the event must be observed).
If you require sign language interpreting, please let us know by 3 October by emailing buergerbuero(at)stadt-chemnitz.de or calling 0371 488 1512.
