Residents' meeting for the urban area Chemnitz centre-east

On 19 May, 5 p.m. in St Andrew's Church, Gablenz

Mayor Barbara Ludwig and the mayors, together with the city council, are inviting citizens to the next residents' meeting for the Mitte-Ost district on Friday, 19 May at 5 pm. The venue is St Andrew's Church in Gablenz, Bernhardstraße 127, 09126 Chemnitz.

Citizens are once again invited to find out about the wide range of services offered by the City of Chemnitz's offices and facilities at information stands from 4.30 pm onwards.

Part 1 of the agenda for the Mitte-Ost residents' meeting for residents of the Gablenz and Yorckgebiet neighbourhoods includes information from the Lord Mayor and the Mayors on planned plans and projects, including

  • Demographic development of the two neighbourhoods
  • Urban development projects and planned investments
  • Information on the 875th anniversary celebrations, the Capital of Culture and the road cycling championships

As usual, part 2 of the residents' meeting will be open to questions, opinions and suggestions from residents.

St Andrew's Church in Gablenz, Bernhardstraße 127, can be reached by public transport (CVAG Tram 5, Gablenzplatz stop). Public parking is available in the vicinity of St Andrews Church.
