Residents' meeting for the north-east urban area
Mayor Barbara Ludwig and the mayors, together with the City Council, are inviting citizens to the next residents' meeting for the Chemnitz North-East urban area on Friday, 8 April. The venue is St Mark's Church, Pestalozzistraße 1, 09130 Chemnitz.
The residents' meeting will begin as usual at 5 pm. Citizens are once again invited to find out about the wide range of services offered by the City of Chemnitz's offices and facilities at information stands from 4.30 pm onwards.
Part 1 of the agenda for the Chemnitz North-East residents' meeting for residents of the Sonnenberg, Hilbersdorf and Ebersdorf districts will include information from the Lord Mayor and the Mayors on planned plans and projects.
Topics include the development of daycare centres and schools in the districts, the update of the accommodation and care concept for refugees in Chemnitz, the status of the development plan procedure for the initial reception facility (EAE) on Adalbert-Stifter-Weg and information on major construction projects such as the Terra Nova Campus and the CFC stadium.
As usual, part 2 of the residents' meeting will be open to questions, opinions and suggestions from the public.
Only Chemnitz residents are invited to the residents' assembly. If necessary, all visitors must be able to identify themselves. We ask for your understanding.
St Mark's Church, Pestalozzistraße 1, can be reached by public transport from the central bus stop using bus routes 21 (Fürstenstraße stop) and 31 (Uhlandstraße stop).
There are public car parks in the vicinity of the church.
There is disabled access to the venue and disabled parking spaces are also available.
Childcare will be provided free of charge at the venue if required. Registration is required at the Citizens' Office by 6 April.
