Residents' meeting for the North and North-East urban areas

Date on 6 May at the Borna primary school

On Friday, 6 May, from 5 p.m., citizens from the north and north-east of Chemnitz are invited to a residents' meeting at Borna primary school. Specifically, the event is aimed at residents from Wittgensdorf, Röhrsdorf, Borna-Heinersdorf, Glösa-Draisdorf, Furth, Ebersdorf, Hilbersdorf and Sonnenberg.

Lord Mayor Sven Schulze, the four mayors and stakeholders from the districts will provide information about current events and upcoming projects in the respective districts.

Attendees can take the opportunity to talk to the mayors at themed tables to ask questions and make suggestions. As in previous years, representatives from CVAG and ASR will be available to answer questions. A new feature is a special area dedicated to the topic of Ukraine.

Among other things, experts from the Environmental Agency will explain how well Chemnitz is prepared for heavy rain and flooding. Employees from the education department will provide information on the occupancy and digitalisation status of the four schools located in the North and North-East districts. The fairytale fountain in Röhrsdorf, planned fruit tree planting, public spaces in connection with the Capital of Culture as well as transport planning projects and future building construction projects will also be addressed.
