Residents' meeting for the entire city area

Invitation: on 30 October, 5 to 7 p.m. in the town hall, Markt 1

On Thursday, 30 October, from 5 to 7 pm, all interested Chemnitz residents are invited to the residents' meeting in the town hall. Mayor Sven Schulze, the mayoress and the mayors will provide information on current developments, events and key projects of the City of Chemnitz in the first part. As usual, no registration is required to attend the residents' meeting.

Afterwards, from around 6 p.m., participants will be able to address their concerns to the administration and individual city stakeholders and engage in dialogue.

Once again, two free tours of the town hall will be offered. As places are limited, registration via the participation portal is required.

Accessibility

In order to make the event as accessible as possible, sign language interpreters will be present during the first part. The event rooms on the first and second floors of the town hall can be reached by lift. The lift is equipped with a bilingual audio announcement and Braille buttons.

How to get there

The town hall can be reached via most of the city's bus and tram lines, alighting at the central stop or Roter Turm. Parking is available in the car park at Getreidemarkt and in the numerous multi-storey car parks in the city centre (subject to charges). There are two free car parks for people with disabilities at the back of the town hall.

If you have any questions, please contact the mayor's office (telephone: 0371 488-1512 or e-mail: buergerbuero(at)stadt-chemnitz.de).
