Residents' meeting for the Chemnitz South urban area

Date: Friday, 9 November, 5 pm, Georgius-Agricola-Gymnasium (auditorium), Park of the Victims of Fascism 2

Mayor Barbara Ludwig, together with Chemnitz City Council, is inviting residents from the Chemnitz South area to a residents' meeting on Friday, 9 November.
The venue is the auditorium of the Georgius-Agricola-Gymnasium, Park der Opfer des Faschismus 2, 09111 Chemnitz. The residents' meeting will begin as usual at 5 pm. Citizens and representatives of the media are once again invited to find out about the wide range of services offered by the City of Chemnitz offices and facilities at information stands from 4.30 pm onwards.

Part 1 of the agenda for the Chemnitz South residents' meeting for residents of the Kappel, Helbersdorf, Morgenleite, Markersdorf and Hutholz districts will include information from the Lord Mayor, the Mayoress and the Mayors on planned plans and projects. Topics include urban development in the south of Chemnitz, local supply and centre concepts as well as the prospects for youth facilities. Part 2 of the residents' meeting will, as usual, be open to questions, opinions and suggestions from residents.

The venue is easily accessible by public transport (bus lines 72 and 62 to the Clara-Zetkin-Straße stop, tram line 5 to the Zieschestraße stop). Access to the GAG is barrier-free and disabled parking spaces are available. Childcare will be provided free of charge directly at the venue.
