Residents' meeting for the Chemnitz city centre area
Mayor Barbara Ludwig and the mayors, together with the City Council, are inviting citizens to the next residents' meeting for the Chemnitz Mitte area on Friday, 23 September. The venue is the auditorium of the Berufliches Schulzentrum für Wirtschaft I, Lutherstraße 2, 09126 Chemnitz.
The residents' meeting will begin as usual at 5 pm. Citizens are once again invited to visit the information stands from 4.30 p.m. to find out about the wide range of services offered by the offices and facilities of the City of Chemnitz.
Part 1 of the agenda for the Chemnitz Mitte residents' meeting for residents of the city centre, Luther quarter, Kapellenberg, Bernsdorf and Altchemnitz districts includes information from the Lord Mayor and the Mayor about planned projects, such as new construction projects and building sites in the assembly area, the security concept for the city centre and the accommodation of asylum seekers in the city districts. In addition, the Chemnitz-Mitte citizens' platform reports.
As usual, part 2 of the residents' assembly will be open to questions, opinions and suggestions from the public.
Invitation to the Chemnitz-Mitte residents' meeting
The Vocational School Centre for Business I, Lutherstraße 2, can be reached by public transport. (CVAG bus line 62 or 72, stop Zschopauer Straße)
Public parking is available in and around the school grounds.
There is disabled access from the schoolyard and disabled parking spaces are available.
If required, childcare will be provided free of charge in the kindergarten at Lutherstraße 12. Registration is required at the Citizens' Office by 21 September 2016.
