Residents' meeting for the Chemnitz city centre area

The venue is the auditorium of the Berufliches Schulzentrum für Wirtschaft I, Lutherstraße 2, 09126 Chemnitz. The residents' meeting will begin as usual at 5 pm. Citizens and representatives of the media are once again invited to find out about the wide range of services offered by the City of Chemnitz's offices and facilities at information stands from 4.30 p.m. onwards.
Part 1 of the agenda for the Chemnitz Mitte residents' meeting for residents of the city centre, Luther quarter, Kapellenberg, Bernsdorf and Altchemnitz districts includes information from the Lord Mayor, the Mayoress and the Mayors on planned plans and projects. Topics include the Brühl development, the Chemnitz model with the area around the main railway station, the construction of school buildings and the cycle path network.
As usual, part 2 of the residents' meeting will be open to questions, opinions and suggestions from the public.
The venue can also be reached by public transport (bus routes 72 and 62 to the Zschopauer Straße stop on Lutherstraße). Access to the vocational school centre is handicapped accessible and disabled parking spaces are available. Public car parking is available around the school grounds. Childcare will be provided free of charge directly at the venue.
