Residents' meeting for the centre-east urban area

Mayor Barbara Ludwig and the mayors are inviting residents to the next residents' meeting for the Chemnitz Mitte-Ost district on Friday, 24 April. The venue is the auditorium of the Friedrich-gemeinsam mit dem Stadtrat Adolf-Wilhelm-Diesterweg-Oberschule, Kreherstr. 101, 09127 Chemnitz.

The residents' meeting will begin as usual at 5 pm. Citizens are once again invited to visit the information stands from 4.30 p.m. onwards to find out about the wide range of services offered by the offices and facilities of the City of Chemnitz.
Part 1 of the agenda for the Chemnitz Mitte-Ost residents' meeting for residents of the Gablenz and Yorkgebiet districts includes information from the Lord Mayor, the Mayoress and the Mayors on planned plans and projects.

Topics include the status of the implementation of the Chemnitz 2020 urban development concept and the accommodation of asylum seekers in the neighbourhoods. As usual, part 2 of the residents' meeting will be open to questions, opinions and suggestions from the public.

The Friedrich-Adolf-Wilhelm-Diesterweg-Oberschule, Kreherstr. 101 can be reached by public transport from the central bus stop on bus route 72 (Diesterwegschule stop). There is disabled access to the venue and disabled parking spaces are also available. If required, childcare will be provided free of charge at the day-care centre "Haus Sonnenblume", Carl-von-Ossietzky-Straße 190 II, 09127 Chemnitz. Please enrol if required.
