Repair work on the rope spider at the "Am Harthwald" playground has been ongoing since the end of May and will be completed by the beginning of July.
The planned replacement of the rope structure had to be interrupted due to problems with the installation of a special component. Now the work on the popular climbing structure can be completed and the playground can be used again in time for the start of the summer holidays.
In addition to the repairs, the oversized fall protection area will also be reduced in size, the fall protection material replaced and the surrounding area adapted to the new edging.
The Kompan company is renewing the rope structure. The costs for this amount to approx. 30,000 euros. The landscaping work will be carried out by Grünbau Bad Schlema GmbH. The costs for this also amount to approx. 30,000 euros.
