Renovation of the Fridolin day care centre completed

On Friday, 25 January at 8.30 a.m., the Mayor of Chemnitz, Michael Stötzer, will officially reopen the Fridolin daycare centre run by the Kindervereinigung Chemnitz e.V. together with Mathias Hofmann, Managing Director of the provider, following the refurbishment.

The daycare centre at 197 Usti nad Labem Street underwent a thorough energy refurbishment between October 2017 and January 2019. In addition to renewing the building envelope, the building services systems were also repaired. The costs for this totalled around 1.6 million euros. The centre has a capacity for 100 children.
