Renovation and extension of the gymnastics hall imminent

The renovation and extension of the small gymnastics hall at the Sportforum will begin shortly. Once the building work has been completed, the sports facility will once again fulfil the increased requirements of a national training centre and modern high-performance training.
A press conference will be held to provide information about the upcoming construction work. Media representatives are invited to attend on Wednesday 27 June at 1.30 pm in the small gymnastics hall in the Sportforum.
Mayor Barbara Ludwig, successful coach Gabi Frehse (Chemnitz/Dresden Olympic Training Centre and TuS Altendorf) and representatives of the city's building management and structural engineering departments will be available to talk to you.
