Relocation of Vita Centre district library
Closed from 24 September to 23 October 2018
The district library in the Vita Centre is moving to a new location within the building. It is not just the floor of the library that will be different. The facility will be more modern, barrier-free and customer-friendly, including extended opening hours: In addition to Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the library will also open on Wednesdays in future.
The new location is at the main entrance to the shopping centre.
The last day the centre's "Play & Fun" area will be open is Saturday, 22 September.
There will be no late fees during the closure period from 24 September to 23 October 2018. During this period, readers can use the central library in the TIETZ and the branches in the city districts.
The library will reopen on Wednesday, 24 October 2018, from 2 pm to 6 pm.
