Relocation of the corona outpatient clinic
New location and expanded capacities from tomorrow, 30 October
The coronavirus outpatient clinic of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians is moving to new premises with additional staff and extended rooms from tomorrow, Friday 30 October. This is the association's response to the increasing demand for Covid-19 testing.
The new outpatient clinic will be located at Hermann-Pöge-Straße 6, 09120 Chemnitz, in the former Praktiker DIY store for the next few months. From tomorrow, it will be open during the existing opening hours, weekdays from 4 pm to 7 pm and Sundays from 9 am to 12 noon.
Due to the extended premises and the additional staff on site, there are no special times for patients with symptoms or patients without symptoms. This means that anyone who wants to be tested can do so at the specified times.
There will be signposting from Südring, Fraunhoferstraße or Werner-Seelenbinder-Straße to the outpatient clinic. There is a roadworks site on Werner-Seelenbinder-Straße coming from Annaberger Straße, so it is currently not possible to get to the outpatient clinic from there.
