Relaxations must be lifted again

The city of Chemnitz issues a new general decree

As the seven-day incidence value of 100 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in Chemnitz has been exceeded for three consecutive days as of today, the restrictions must be lifted again from Friday, 19 March.

This means that the general decree on the enforcement of the Infection Protection Act on the occasion of the coronavirus pandemic of 6 March 2021 will be lifted. A new general ruling will come into force.

Shops in the wholesale and retail trade and businesses providing services close to the body will be closed again. Outdoor sports, including at outdoor sports facilities, are no longer possible. Cultural facilities such as the zoo, the wildlife park and the botanical garden as well as museums, galleries and memorials will be closed again.

Alcohol consumption is prohibited in the following public areas of the city centre:

Brückenstraße from Theaterstraße, Brückenstraße/Straße der Nationen intersection, Bahnhofstraße, Theaterstraße from Falkeplatz to Brückenstraße.

From Friday, the stricter contact restrictions in accordance with the Saxon Corona Protection Ordinance and the exit restrictions mentioned therein will apply again.
