Reference to property tax due in 2020
The City of Chemnitz Tax and Revenue Office would like to inform you: The last property tax assessment remains valid until it is replaced by a new assessment. The property tax is therefore due on 15 February, 15 May, 15 August and 15 November with the quarterly amount specified in the last property tax assessment notice sent or as an annual amount on 15 August if this does not exceed 15 euros or as an annual amount on 1 July (if the taxpayer's application was submitted by 30 September of the previous year).
Property taxpayers are requested to continue to transfer or pay the property tax for 2020 to one of the City of Chemnitz's bank accounts or to make use of the SEPA direct debit procedure without any special request by the due dates and with the amounts resulting from the assessment notice for the 2019 calendar year or the last notice sent.
