Redesign of Rosenplatz on Bernsdorfer Straße
Installation of playground equipment has begun
A new playground with three play areas will form the centrepiece of the redesigned facility. The play theme is the "Garden of the Rose" with motifs from "The Little Prince".
There will be a large play area with equipment combinations and fall protection gravel and a toddler play area with play sand. In addition, the area has already been equipped with a nest swing with a seamless fall protection surface made of rubber granulate, which enables barrier-free use.
The play equipment is mainly made of oak wood. The metal parts are made of stainless steel.
The design and arrangement of the play equipment was awarded to Zimmer.Obst GmbH. The playground equipment is currently being installed by Sollacher Spielplatzmontage GmbH, a competent subcontractor operating throughout Germany.
Once the playground equipment has been installed, the playground edging and the neighbouring paths will be completed.
Depending on the weather, the redesign of the playground will be completed by the end of November.
