Reconstruction of playground at Usti nad Labem 199 - delays in the construction process
The end of the renovation of the Usti nad Labem 199 street playground has been delayed by around three weeks until the start of the holiday season. The playground was originally due to be completed at the end of June.
The playground is designed as a natural landscape that invites children to explore and play freely. To achieve this, extensive landscaping work was necessary, followed by grass seeding. Due to the heavy rainfall at the end of May and beginning of June and the resulting deterioration in soil conditions, it was not possible to carry out the work as planned, such as the accumulation/covering with topsoil.
In order to create a satisfactory playing experience and avoid unnecessary soiling, it is necessary to give the topsoil sufficient time to settle and the turf to grow.
The work will be carried out by the company Gruenbau Ltd. in Bad Schlema.
The total costs amount to approx. 60,000 euros.
